What do you mean by "caring without restraint"?

I'm not George, but having worked at DelArc nearly a year, I can tell you "caring without restraint" has two aspects.
First, our care providers demonstrate their care for the consumers without restraint. Our agency's first unifying principle, "Those we serve come first," applies to every area of the agency, but is perhaps most obvious with personnel providing direct care.
Second, it is the agency's policy to use no physical restraint when caring for our consumers. Rather than reacting to situations, our care providers focus on understanding the consumer's own goals and desires, and assisting them to achieve those goals. Very rewarding for all concerned!
